I created this worksheet back in 2006 when I wanted to track exactly what Twixter's performance was, how much I was spending (Engines vs. Sail), and what combinations worked best for different cruising configurations (What else are you going to do on those long overnight passages?) ;)

I developed this application in 2008 to quickly download a series of weather images (.bmp, .png, .gif, etc.), "on-the-run" without going to a dozen different weather websites.  Built for the need to download hundreds of weather images in 30/45 seconds (at an iNet Cafe, or at the fuel dock while topping-off).  I also wanted to optimize my images for a "thin" download (across a sat phone connection, etc.)

It's a .zip package; so simply unzip it and run the .exe (using the included "Weather Images.txt data file). The .exe can also be copied to and run from a memory stick (and your images can be stored on the stick as well)...Perfect for those Hotspot PC's - run it from and download to your "Weather Memory Stick"!

Coming Soon v2.0M! Windows Mobil version w/ Grib support.  Now you'll be able to download your weather images and Grib files from your phone ("on-the-run") and upload them to your PC.
